The Waterwise 4000 countertop distiller utilizes this activated carbon cup to filter the remaining contaminants that distillation may not remove. Each Carbon cup is good for approximately 2 to 3 months (60 - 80 gallons). Sterilize each filter cup by fully immersing it in boiling water for about five minutes.
