These pivoting, saddle-style cradles let you easily load a kayak or SUP from the side of your vehicle onto your roof rack. Universal mounting hardware fits most crossbars. Includes tie-downs and bow/stern ropes. The cradle heads pivot for easier loading from the side of your vehicle, and rubber pads conform to your kayak's shape. The system includes tie-down straps and universal mounting hardware that fits most crossbars. Pivoting Saddles The Rincon's pivoting saddles make it easy to load your kayak from the side of your vehicle. Flip the cradles toward you, and push your kayak onto your roof. As you push, the saddles will flip inward to face the opposing saddles. Your kayak will come to rest between the 4 cradles. Protective Pads Rubber pads on the cradles protect your kayak from scuffs and scratches. These pads are designed to conform to your hull and to help hold it in place during transport. Tie-Down Straps The carrier includes 2 tie-down straps with padded cam-lock buckles that protect your kayak and your vehicle from scratches and scuffs. Just loop the straps around your crossbars and around your kayak. Secure the straps in place with the cam buckles. Two bow/stern ropes with vinyl-coated S-hooks are also included to secure the front and back of your kayak to your vehicle. This will help prevent your kayak from shifting during transport. Universal Hardware The Rincon easily installs on your crossbars with universal mounting hardware. Clamp the brackets around your crossbars, and tighten them with the hand knobs. Use the included 100-mm bolts to fit larger diameter crossbars.
