The narrowest spot on the ski is the center of the radius, and it happens to be the most intuitive place from which to initiate pivoting of the funk-freaky-freestyle variety. Mounting here also works wonders for carving and popping off the back and front of your skis. XL 2.5mm Edges Extra edge thickness gives the skier a pair of skis that absorb shock and impact much better than skis with standard edges. The result is a ski with a much higher life expectancy. Poplar / Beech Core Poplar is a light-colored, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having great vibration absorption capabilities. The darker hardwood, beech, adds stiffness and rebound.
